Confirm the real temperature band
Short exposure, repeated cycling, and cure profiles should be discussed separately. Many buyers over-specify material because the actual dwell time and contact conditions were never isolated.
Define the edge quality requirement
A crisp visual line, a chemical barrier, and a non-stick release requirement may each point to a different tape family, even if the temperature band appears similar.
Clarify converting requirements early
Roll width, die-cutting, and liner format should be part of the first RFQ if the tape will feed a repetitive masking workflow instead of being applied freehand.
